Both honors are a first for each player. Louisiana-Monroe wide receiver Ajalen Holley was named the offensive player of the week this week.

This is the second year in a row that Ume-Ezeoke, a native of Garland, Texas, as made the fall watch list.

Courtesy of NMSU MESA, Ariz. –Senior outfielder Michael Medina was selected to the first team on the 2014 All-WAC team, while senior first baseman Kristoffer Koerper and junior outfielder Michael Paulson earned second team honors as the post season awards were announced by the league office, Tuesday, May 20. The all-WAC teams are selected by the league’s head coaches.

Rother, the WAC Player of the Year, was named second team All-Pacific Region, while teammate and fellow outfielder Rodriguez was named to the third team.

Lacey Rother was named WAC Player of the Year and first team All-WAC. Fiana Finau and Alyssa Ruiz also received first team All-WAC honors, while Emma Adams, Makayla McAdams, Brennalyn Nakamura, Staci Rodriguez and Celisha Walker were selected as part of the second team all-conference.
